Helicopter Lifting Services have developed a unique range of role equipment. To protect the equipment, the helicopter gear bags have a modular design and inherent Safety, Quality and Innovation have been incorporated into the design.
The Hoist Weight bags have a Working Load Limit of 240 kg. 20 kg cast iron steel plates sit inside the bag and a drawstring snout keeps them enclosed in the bag when used as a Hoist Weight for Helicopter Hoist Cable Conditioning Maintenance and Hoist Training.
These were originally developed as abseiling rope bags for stowage while working aloft and for helicopter rappelling operations.
They have been used for Helicopter Construction Utility Bags for carrying smaller items and drogue chutes on asymmetrical or problematic External Loads to prevent the load from spinning. These bags have survived the harshest of conditions possible and have retained their structural integrity.
The standard size is 400mm high with an additional 200 mm drawstring snout and 400 mm diameter. Made from 440 gsm Rip Stop canvas, 1000 Denier Cordura and 50 mm webbing. Limited colour range. Can be made to any size, and Working Load Limit.
Cargo Net and Long Line Bags are available in standard sizes for long lines and cargo nets under 2 tonne Working Load Limit. Over 2 Tonne Cargo Nets and custom sizes are also available. The bags are made with a 1000 Denier Nylon Cordura and 50 mm webbing. A range of colours are available.
